You are responsible for the grounds associated with your home.  While all of the property in The Homes is considered "corporate property", each shareholder is responsible for mowing, landscaping and basic tree care.  The Homes' maintenance staff will trim trees that endanger utility lines and buildings.  In the winter, you are responsible for shoveling your sidewalks and outside stairs.  The office has grass seed and ice melt chemicals for a nominal fee.  The maintenance staff also has equipment to make extra sand sweeps of the streets within the subdivision, during the winter.
